Alana is a registered provisional psychologist who holds a Master of Professional Psychology from Flinders University. Her undergraduate qualifications include a Bachelor of Psychology degree and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) degree at the University of South Australia.
Nurturing, intuitive and compassionate, Alana fosters a genuine connection with her clients and quickly creates a relaxed and harmonious space for them to openly discuss their presenting concerns. She takes a personalised and bespoke approach to therapy by individually tailoring a program of support to meet her client’s needs and guide them towards their therapeutic goals.
Trained in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Alana is passionate about empowering her clients to achieve better mental health, greater life satisfaction, resilience, well-being, and positive change.
Alana works with children and adults presenting with a wide range of general mental health concerns including, anxiety, depression, life stages and events, mood difficulties, and adjustment disorders.
In addition to therapy, Alana also conducts assessments for Autism (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Learning Difficulties, in children and adults. She particularly enjoys helping clients and their families to better understand their neurodiverse self, and recommending appropriate interventions and supports to enable her clients to realise their potential and live a fulfilling and happy life.
Alana’s professionalism and dedication to ongoing learning ensures that her skills remain current, enabling her to provide the highest standard of care to her clients.
Alana is available for Assessments including Autism, ADHD and learning difficulties.
