Michelle is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and a Clinical Psychology Registrar. She has a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and undergraduate qualifications from Flinders University, including a Bachelor of Psychological Studies and a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours). Michelle also has a double degree with a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Education (R-7).

Michelle has a passion for, and extensive experience in, child and adult diagnostic assessments for ADHD, Autism, Specific Learning Disorders (SLD), cognitive difficulties and intellectual development. She has a unique blend of qualifications and expertise in psychology and education through her current work as a psychologist primarily with children and their families and previous work for the Department of Education, and as a psychologist within a school setting. This makes Michelle perfectly suited to the psycho-educational assessment space.

Michelle takes a holistic approach to her assessments by seeking to identify and understand her clients’ presenting issues and concerns and providing comprehensive assessments reports that contain thoughtful insight into the assessment findings, expert opinion and diagnoses, and evidence-based strategies to enable her clients to better understand their behaviour and challenges, facilitate appropriate supports across all environments including school, home and work, and foster a better quality of life.
Friendly and approachable, Michelle is able to quickly establish rapport with her assessment clients and put them at ease throughout the assessment. This is particularly important when assessing children to ensure they feel comfortable and perform to the best of their capabilities when being assessed.
