Stefanie is a Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) from The University of Adelaide.
Empathetic and understanding, Stefanie takes an open and collaborative approach to therapy, and creates a safe and non-judgemental space for her patients to discuss their issues or concerns. Stefanie believes good therapeutic rapport is essential for positive therapy outcomes, and she strives to quickly establish and maintain rapport with her patients.
Stefanie draws on a range of evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), whilst also incorporating neuro-affirming, strengths-based, trauma-informed, bio-psycho-social, and positive-behaviour nuanced approaches to therapy.
Stefanie has experience supporting adolescents and adults with a range of presentations including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, stress, neurodivergence, disability, low self-esteem, and interpersonal challenges.
