Tyla is a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). She holds a Master of Clinical Psychology and Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from Flinders University, South Australia.

Warm, compassionate, and client-centred, Tyla is committed to creating a supportive, safe, and non-judgmental space where her clients feel heard, validated, and empowered. She is passionate about working collaboratively with her clients to develop tailored therapy goals and meaningful strategies that promote personal growth, wellbeing, and resilience. 

Tyla draws on evidence-based approaches in her work, primarily Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while integrating other contemporary frameworks such as Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Mindfulness. She places a strong emphasis on building a trusting therapeutic relationship and adapts her approach to meet the unique strengths, values, and challenges of each individual client.

Tyla has experience working across a range of clinical settings with individuals of all ages. She has supported children, adolescents, and families through challenges such as anxiety, low self-esteem, peer and social difficulties, emotion dysregulation, trauma, sleep difficulties, and neurodivergence. She also has experience working with adults facing a range of psychological concerns, in particular, anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep problems, stress management, emotional regulation, and self-compassion. Tyla is dedicated to helping her clients understand their experiences, reduce distress, and enhance their overall wellbeing.

Tyla is available for adult and children’s assessments and individual therapy sessions with adults.
